Overview
Mahindra e-Verito is an electric version of Verito sedan that derives power from the latest drivetrain technology from Mahindra Electric. The electric sedan can be charged at home through fast charging technology and takes around one hour and 45 minutes for one full charge. Mahindra's electric sedan, e-Verito is available in three variants-D2, D4 and D6. It is powered by 3-phase 72V induction motor producing 30.5kW of power and 91Nm of torque. The sedan gets a direct drive single speed transmission channelizing power to front wheels. The 200Ah Li-ion battery is used to power music system, headlamps and AC. On a full charge, the sedan is claimed to travel up to 110kms. Mahindra E Verito is available in 1 colour - Diamond White.
Exterior
Mahindra eVerito exteriors have body-coloured bumpers, door handles and outer rear view mirrors in all variants, while a front grille with chrome bottom bezel is featured in top variants, D4 and D6. The clear lens headlamps, side body cladding and the graphics with Verito Electric signature gives it an attraction on the road. Identical to the regular version, e-Verito sports styling elements such as chrome front grille, side cladding, body side decals and side indicator are present on the outside.
Interior
Mahindra eVerito interiors feature premium dual-tone black and CC grey interior theme with woven jacquard upholstery in the base variant D2, and circular knit upholstery in D4 and D6 variants. The centre bezel and gear shifter bezel are available with cubic-printed finishing. The silver accents on the AC vents and knobs add to the aesthetics of interiors, and the air conditioning with heater gives efficient cooling and adds to the comfort of occupants. Mahindra E Verito gets interior with a premium dual tone colour scheme and fabric upholstery. Silver accent around AC vents and knobs add to the overall styling.
Performance
The electric induction motor is designed to deliver quick power output for acceleration while single-speed transmission delivers the engine torque at front wheels. The car can run up to 110kms on one full charge that takes around 45 minutes. Tubeless tyres measuring 185/70 R14 are wrapped with alloy wheels on higher variants, while the base trim gets steel wheels.
Safety and Security
Braking force comes from disc brakes at front axle and drum brakes at rear axle with steel rims in D2 variant, and alloy wheels in D4 and D6 variants. The Mahindra eVerito features in terms of safety include a collapsible steering column, child lock on the rear door, auto door lock while driving and side intrusion beams for effective protection of the occupants. Safety equipment standard across model range include digital immobilizer, high mount stop lamp, seat belt with height adjuster, auto door lock while driving, child lock on rear door and prismatic rear view mirror. Comfort goodies integrated in sedan include electro-Hydraulic power steering, air conditioner with heater, power windows, internally adjustable ORVMs, mobile charging points, reclining seat back in front row, cup holder, seat back map pocket and magazine pockets.
