The diesel engine is claimed to return 21.30 kmpl against the petrol trims tuned to deliver 16.70 kmpl. A six-speed manual transmission is mated with both the engines along with a choice for 7-speed CVT available on selected petrol variants. Corolla Altis is offered in six-speed manual and seven-speed automatic transmission options for the petrol engine and a six-speed manual transmission for the diesel.
