Volkswagen Vento Petrol

Volkswagen Vento has received an updated 1.5-litre diesel unit tuned to produce higher power output. Vento is offered with a wide choice of ten model trims. The sedan has been tuned to offer an enhanced fuel efficiency of up to 7.5 percent. Vento line-up is available with a choice of three engines including two petrol and one diesel units. Volkswagen Vento is accessible in 6 different colours - Blue Silk, Candy White, Carbon Steel, Reflex Silver, Titanium Beige and Toffee Brown.

The front profile of Vento features a three-slat chrome grille, redesigned headlamps and air-dams on lower bumper with integrated fog lamps. The rear end is pretty impressive with large body coloured bumper and LED-pattern like tail lamps. There are new striking styling elements which are enough impress buyers at a first glance. Its side looks flamboyant with body colored door handles and body hued wing mirrors with turn blinkers. The car's rear design features new 3D effect tail lights. The boot lid comes with company logo embossed on it. 

The colour scheme has changed inside and a host of new equipment has been added. The central console is not feature clad which imparts a neat look. Vento comes with a sophisticated dual tone color scheme accentuated with classy chrome trimmings. The car is designed with high quality materials and scratch resistant superior plastic surfaces which definitely enhances the overall up-market appeal. There is premium 'Cloud Titanschwarz' fabric upholstery with a black interior theme for the Trendline mid-range trims. The higher variants get premium two-tone leatherette upholstery and 'Walnut Desert Beige' interior theme. The sedan offers a multi-function console, cooled glove box, leather wrapped gearshift and steering wheel, front and rear center armrest, 12V power socket, trunk illumination and more.

The Vento comes with the option of three engines to choose from - 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine, 1.5-litre TDI diesel engine, and a 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine. The petrol engine is good for 103bhp and 175Nm torque and the updated diesel unit produces 108bhp along with 250Nm of peak torque. Transmission choices available on the Vento range include a five-speed manual and seven-speed DSG automatic unit.

Vento offers good performance and superior handling. The car is loaded with excess of comfort features like cruise control, automatic rain-sensing wipers, automatic air-conditioner with rear ac vents, rear parking sensors, height adjuster for driver's seat, speed sensing electronic power steering, rear defogger, remote controlled central locking, power windows with one touch operation, electronically adjustable & foldable ORVMs, multi-function display and speed sensing auto door lock.

Volkswagen Vento is equipped with ventilated disc brakes upfront and drums brakes at rear. Its safety features include ABS, electronic engine immobilizer, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors and speed sensing auto door locks. Primary safety equipment including dual front airbags, ABS, height adjustable head restraints in front and rear, electronic engine immobilizer, 3-point height adjustable seat belts in front and rear, auto dimming IRVM and power windows with pinch guard function on all doors are available in Vento. The DSG variants get some additional features like electronic stabilization program and hill hold control.
