Overview
Maruti Suzuki has entered into the new segment of compact SUVs. The company has added a new sub-four-metre compact SUV called Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza to its portfolio. It is the first product from Maruti Suzuki that is completely designed and developed in India. This beautifully designed car is available in seven different trims LDi, VDi and ZDi, starting at Rs 7 lac to Rs. 9.5 lac (ex-showroom price, New Delhi).
Vitara Brezza is powered by well-known Marutis family 1.3-litre engine that develops 89bhp and torque of 200Nm. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission which helps to get an ARAI mileage of 24.3 km/l. Vitara Brezza is a compact SUV that is based on Suzukis global C platform.
Vitara brezza comes with a segment-first dual colour scheme which makes it look more trendy and youthful. Its raised stance and a sporty body kit makes it a truly head-turner. Add to this, muscular wheel arches showing off sporty alloy wheels with wide tyres makes it look bolder and confident on roads. Car also offers a plenty of storage space which adds great practicality.
The car comes equipped with a state-of-the-art SMARTPLAY Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay support and satellite navigation. Styling of Vitara brezza is aggressive, with bolder design muscular bumper, tapered roofline, integrated LED daytime running lights, honeycomb airdam, projector headlights, piano finished accents, rugged grab handles and sporty seats, etc.
Exterior
Vitara Brezzas exteriors are trendy, well-designed and eye-catching. The car gets high rise bonnet and badge of the Maruti Suzuki in middle front. Front of car gets a masculine rectangular grille with a chrome finish and a pair of smoked look headlights that houses projector lamps along with DRLs (daytime running lights).
Front bumper is huge and houses two fog lamps with a large air dam in the middle. Vitara Brezza comes with a segment-first dual colour scheme which makes it look different from its competitors. It also gets a sporty body kit and muscular wheel arches showing off 16-inch sporty alloy wheels with wide tyres.
On the rear, car is relatively simple and sharp, it has a big horizontal chrome plate that has the name Vitara Breeza imprinted on it, a spoiler, light guides and a hatch opening boot-lid. Car comes equipped with rear parking camera with sensors, a rear wiper and a defogger and offered in nine different vibrant colours with optional dual colour scheme.
Interior
Vitara brezza interiors are clean and impressive at first sight. The car comes with piano black accents with chrome inserts. Add to this, it is equipped with sporty seats with high-quality fabric upholstery.
The fit and finish of cabin is impressive and gives a more premium feel. It comes equipped with a state-of-the-art SMARTPLAY Infotainment System with Apple CarPlay support and satellite navigation which allows to use your iPhone through the touchscreen display as well as make calls, receive messages and listen to music via Siri.
Vitara Brezza offers multi storage spaces which are designed to make cabin more practical and useful for everyone. The car has a host of features like multi-functioning steering wheel, tilt steering, cruise control and push smart with smart keyless entry, front sliding centre armrest and rear armrest, and Electric folding ORVMs with indicators.

Vitara brezza comes with Marutis well known and tested - 1.3-litre DDiS turbocharged four-cylinder engine that develops 89 bhp of power at 4000rpm and 200Nm of torque at 1750rpm. Power is delivered to the front via a five-speed manual transmission which helps to get an ARAI mileage of 24.3kmpl.
Safety and Security
Car is based on the Suzukis TECT (total effective control technology), which absorbs shocks during any collision. It also comes equipped with dual Airbag, ABS, EBD, parking camera with sensors, and front fog lamps to ensure your safety.
Vitara Brezza has excellent brakes with the help of ventilated discs at front wheels and drum brakes at the rear wheels. Apart from these, it also gets front-seat belt pre-tensioner with force limiter which helps in case of any collision.
Comfort and Convenience
Maruti Suzuki had added a lot of comfort and convenience to its all-new Vitara Brezza like - electric power steering with tilt adjustment, keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control, gear shift indicator, electromagnetic tailgate, navigation and reverse parking camera display, power windows in front and rear, automatic headlamp, rain sensing wiper, electrically folding wing mirrors and 60:40 split rear seat.

Vitara Brezza is using an independent suspension with McPherson Strut with Coil Spring at front while the rear gets a setup of Torsion Beam with Coil Spring.
